Welcome to Mehndi Paradise, the blog about Henna and Destination Weddings!

Henna Lounge has been providing mehndi services in the San Francisco Bay Area for 8 years. In mid-2012, we began serving destination weddings. During our research and planning, we became a little obsessed with all things tropical, Indian weddings, and Bohemian style. This has provided the inspiration for this blog, Mehndi Paradise.

We hope you enjoy all of the eye candy! Please let us know when you need a henna professional for your destination wedding or event! We specialize in Mexico, but we love new adventures too.

Beach Palace Wedding

In April I had the fun opportunity of doing henna at the Beach Palace resort in Cancun. I shared some photos of that already, but it’s always exciting to see photos from the professionals. You can see the full collection of Mexican photographer Daniel Diaz’ images on his blog:  Second shooter, and equally talented, Juya, who hails from Colombia.

Here are a few of my favorite mehndi-related photos from these two incredibly talented photographers! Don’t forget to check out their blogs though to see all the real wedding action.

This one cracks me up, because the mom and aunties are saying “just a little bit more” even though the bride only wanted a very small design.
